Greg Hughes rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

This wine represents the clever combination of a traditionally vinified icewine and passerillage (drying or curing that occurs on the vine). The use of Riesling ensures there will be enough acidity to give it life and the barrel fermentation makes it opulent and with a lot of secondary flavours to sink your teeth into.
The colour is a remarkable gold, with orange hues.
The aromas of marmalade, apricot, lemon, cream, honey, poundcake, and cinnamon are incredible. The wine is already showing some of it's age with caramel and confiture notes, but it still has a lot of life.
The palate is thoroughly enjoyable. it may have partially gone through malolactic fermentation in the barrel, as it does have some lactic notes. I would say that that is another nuance you attain with this peculiarity over a traditional icewine.
Lots of apricot jam, marmalade, fig, lemon cake, and honey.
This wine is also a bargain, as it is less expensive than traditional icewine. Pair it with cashews, or perhaps rich époisse cheese.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
