Greg Hughes rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This offering from Pere Anselme has recently become non-vintage. This is important information for those buying this Chateauneuf for the purposes of aging/cellaring. This wine is specifically intended to be drunk the same year it was purchased.
As far as Chateauneufs go, it is quite light and fruity. However, it still manages a lot of supple red fruit and texture.
The wine's appearance shows some slight orange/bricking at the rim - a sign of aging. We'll never really know how old this wine is or how it was treated. It could be a sign of premature oxidation to coax out some age characteristics in a wine meant to be drunk soon.
On the aromas, there are a lot of red fruit aromas dusted with some cocoa and mulling spices. It has a lot of alcohol evident on the nose, but the oak is fairly well incorporated.
From the palate, it becomes clear there is a lot of Grenache here. Superripe red and black fruit - cherry, blackberry, dates, loganberry. Pleasing and easy to appreciate.
Pair thos with a bloody steak, some fliberts, or maybe dry salami.
