Greg Hughes rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is an ad-mixed rose. That means that it is a blend of a two varietals to achieve desired profile. It is a mix of Merlot and Pinot Gris. That does not necessarily mean that all of the colour is the Merlot's contribution, though. Sometimes, the skin on Pinot Gris can change through ripening and exposure to become a coppery-pink hue. That colour can be extracted through a long, cold maceration that are typical of how many wineries, including Thornbury, treats its Pinot Gris.
It is a bright bubble-gum pink, with white hues.
Do not trust your nose on this rose. Though the fruit are so ample and ripe, the rose remains dry dry dry. Bruised strawberry, nectarine, some lactic hints, and tangerine on the aromas. There are floral aromas that reveal themselves over time, while sipping.
Refreshing acidity frames a palate full of overripe citrus (cara and blood orange) and Rainier cherry.
This is a great wine for 30 degree weather. Light, refreshing, and interesting.
