A full-bodied, savoury Californian Cabernet with aromas of campfire and smoke from toasty oak aging. Juicy and delicious. Pair with barbecued meats.

Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

St. Francis Cabernet Sauvignon from the Sonoma County is a blend of mountain, hillside and valley floor Cab that provides the perfect complement of flavour, texture, and balance to this value priced gem! Deep ruby red, the nose shows black currant, black plum, stewed dark fruit, tobacco, and spice. Delicious! Fine integrated tannis give texture whilst keeping the soft and luscious mouthfeel. This Cab is a great choice to enjoy with premium grilled cuts of beef. Enjoy 2016 - 2025. Tasted July 2016. 92 points. Matt Steeves- www.quercusvino.ca
