Priya: Smells slightly musty and smoky over a strawberry rhubarb pie. If you're a fan of Argentinian Malbec, this won't be your style as it's way less fruity and way more on the dry side. The only fruit I detect is sour cherries, if that sounds good you'll want to give this a try. 86pts

Alex: My lady I'm in utter disagreement here. There's sourness yes, from good acidity, but there's also a whack of cherry pie and plum fruit here. And I don't feel this is so far off Argentina Malbec, It's fruity, gentle and supple on the palate, with less tannin and more polish than your typical Cahors. Despite this modern approach, here's a really well-made wine, fruity yet very mineral-driven on the palate, expert winemaking and balance, with stuffing and length well above the price. 90pts
