Trevor Sabourin rated this wine as 83/100 with the following review:

Light ruby colour with a garnet hue. The nose is dominated by a very strong, slightly off-putting menthol/peppermint aroma, with cranberry, blueberry, and light baking spice character hiding underneath. The fruit seems much better represented on the palate, with the cranberry being stronger than the blueberry. There is also a hint of red licorice candy, and the menthol and peppermint come through quite strongly again. There is substantial sweetness, which is mostly balanced by the cranberry tartness. Tasted Dec. 2015. Perhaps this was past its prime drinking age, and may have shown more vibrant, ripe fruit character a couple of years ago. I could see this working nicely with Mexican or Thai food, or hot curry dishes, due to the sweetness.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
