Paul Lupinacci rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

I'll admit it, I've been drinking California wine for a long time and yet I've never heard of Amador County. The area is located east of Lodi, California and is home to over 40 wineries specializing in Zinfandels, Barberas and Rhones.

Terra d’Oro (which means Land of Gold) is a deep ruby red wine which seems to hold promise. The nose can best be described as a shy bouquet with subtle aromas of berries. Dark plum is the predominant flavour with hints of cloves, black pepper and blackberry. The lingering finish is satisfying. Overall this wine is pleasant with a bit of an edge. Well balanced but not a particularly complex wine. Pair with lighter fare - pasta with tomato sauce, chicken or pizza.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
