Alex & Priya rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Priya: Alex says this one has a meaty nose, with black plum, black cherry, vanilla, nutmeg, violets and maybe a bit of waxy crayon?? I’m not sure where he’s getting all that since to my unrefined sense of smell, all I get is the meaty aspect. It reminds me of a butcher shop, and I haven’t been to one of those in years.
Alex: Hah, it’s nowhere near as meaty as wine can get but there’s a density to the fruit that comes across as meatiness. It’s rich and creamy on the palate with quite a vibrant and tangy acidity—and gobs of black cherry fruit.
Priya: I see what you mean with the black cherry fruit, but it’s fruit that hasn’t quite reached ripeness. It’s tangy and it tastes a bit like pine trees smell, if that makes sense.
Alex: It has a wildness reminiscent of the Old World style, what more could you want for $20?
Priya: The price is right but this one’s not suited for my palate. I’d walk on by.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
