Stephen Beaumont CSW CWE rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

No, this is not Sancerre, Pouilly Fume or Cloudy Bay, and you may not think first of Chile when selecting a Sauvignon Blanc, but Errazuriz, who have been making wines for 130 years in the shadow of the Andes, has managed to craft a distinguished example at a bargain price.

Sauvignon Blanc does best in cool areas and the Aconcagua Valley, 100km north of Santiago, is near the Pacific coast and benefits from a lot of cooling fog and mist that helps maintain a refreshing acidity that is a characteristic of the grape.

This wine, from their Estate Series, has balance and depth, medium body and sings with notes of grapefruit and apple. The mouth-feel is lovely and the finish surprisingly long.

I don't have any oysters handy, but if I did, I would not hesitate to drink this wine with them. It would also pair perfectly with grilled chicken, pork and salads as well as quite spicy dishes.

It is a wine made with care and skill that reflects the Sauvignon Blanc grape's characteristics and represents astonishing value.

Drink now - it is not meant for cellaring.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
