Julia Kelada rated this wine as 96/100 with the following review:

A wonderful example of a Brunello wine. I feel a little cliché, you get what you pay for, at $46.50, for those of you who understand the Brunello, this is a delicious and well priced wine!
This is another wine showcased at the Brunello Di Montalcino wine tasting held in Montreal and is stocked readily at the SAQ.

It shows the true essence of the trade mark Brunello, a rich red brown hued wine.
On he nose rich intense black cherries and wild black currants, then a high impact red fruit note which quickly led into an earthy moist truffle tone.

On the palate, fully packed with dark fruit cherries, blackberries and cooked plums. A dry mouth leads into mocha then leather coats the inside of your mouth before damp earth presents itself. There is a light citrus finishing note mixed with white pepper . Firm tannins......wondrous!

Bottoms up!

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
