Juicy-wonderful! Just dripping with fleshy berry flavor and plums with some real vibrancy and lift on the mid-palate. I love it! This wine is a blend of about a third cabernet sauvignon, a third syrah, and the balance split between merlot and carmenere grapes. Superb craftsmanship; great value.

Reviews and Ratings

Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Big bold fruits and great structure, this full bodied wine has a nice subtle toasted oak feel as well. Nice acidity and elegant tannins, the fruit is what stood out to me. I could tell the Cabernet Sauvignon is the dominant grape in the blend, and since I'm a big fan of a Cab Sauv I enjoyed this wine. This is a great wine for beef.
Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

Elegant with flavours of plum and strawberry enveloped in a soft and velvety texture. This wine has fresh acidity and well round, well integrated tannins that provide a lingering finish.

The Blend indeed. This includes Carmenère, Syrah, Cabernets Sauvignon and Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Complex notions of dark cherry, autumn leaves and earth make way for a seductively smooth and velvety wine brimming with dark fruit and a drop of vanilla, culminating in a spicy tobacco and black pepper finish.
