Reviews and Ratings

The Wine Sisters reviewed this wine as follows:

Pick this up while you can! A superior example of Beaujolais Cru, with beautiful complexity and aromas and flavours of ripe field berry, violet incense, crushed stone, and a bit of spice and pepper. Firm tannins and bright acidity give this wine some weight and vibrancy, a very elegant choice that will pair well with everything from turkey and pork to roast beef. Tasted November 2012
A shining example of Beaujolais Cru Gamay in fine form. Medium-deep purple in the glass with layered aromas of plum, blueberry, boysenberry and a whiff of fresh herbs. Medium bodied and chock-full of ripe berry fruit, with tangy acidity giving nice lift. It’s got the structure for ageing, and should easily last 5+ years. Source: Vintages Wine Panel

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
