Mappinga 2015 is a blockbuster 100% Shiraz produced from a wine blend of four Shiraz clones from cool-climate Adelaide Hills, each hand-picked and fermented with some carbonic maceration to retain fruit freshness. Winemaker, Tash Mooney selects Shiraz grapes at premium ripeness. Fermentation is temperature controlled and once completed the wine is then matured in 80% new and 20% one year old French oak barriques for 22 months. Look for ripe dark berries, leather, savoury spice and a kiss of menthol on this very quaffable, juicy full-bodied red wine. Enjoy now and for the next five years.

Shiraz food pairings: roast beef, roast chicken, grilled pork ribs.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
