Made from grapes grown on 43-year-old vines which gives this wine a lovely concentration and depth of flavour without being heavy. Gorgeous apple and dry honey notes. Good acidity for food.

Reviews and Ratings

The wine has a pale gold hue with a green tinge. This gorgeous wine starts with an intense nose of blackcurrant bud, fresh green figs and honey. The palate shows a depth of flavours and an elegance like a classic Savennières from the Loire Valley. The fruit from the old vines helps to deliver a palate of concentrated quince, green apple, honey and gooseberry. The 2010 Home Vineyard Old Vines Chenin Blanc offers a seductive mouthfeel with a refreshing acidity that delivers a long, lingering dry finish.
