This dark, meaty and full-bodied Argentine wine sources its Malbec grapes from the Pizzella Family Vineyard (Ed Lehrman and Nick Ramkowsky). Loads of chocolate, espresso, coffee and mocha from generous oak aging; almost sweet in perception on the palate. Pair with Mexican mole.

Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Dark, deep and delicious. Dark berries, vanilla, herbal notes. A fruit packed wine that maintains its refreshing qualities making it the perfect complement to hearty stews, gourmet burgers, or simply enjoy on its own. Tasted January 2015. 89 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
This Argentine wine sources grape from local growers. This La Posta is more robust than the winery's Angel Paulucci red wine. This wine bottle has a new label for this vintage. Winemakers Paula and Pablo Pizzella grow the grapes in Altamira, Mendoza. Sweet on the palate and finish. - Community Wine Reviews
