Inniskillin Riesling Icewine reveals opulent aromas of honeyed nectarine, candied pineapple, tangerine marmalade, and tropical guava with whispers of crystallized ginger and vanilla custard. Sweet and full-bodied with luscious weight, it flows across the palate balanced by vibrant lime acidity before finishing with a persistent, zesty edge that keeps everything buoyant and elevated. Serve it well chilled or cellar it through 2046. This is the convenient half bottle size (200 ml) which is ideal when you'd like to begin a meal with a glass and half each to toast. Nicholas Gizuk, winemaker at Inniskillin who stands on the shoulders of legendary founders Donald Ziraldo and Karl Kaiser, crafts this luxurious dessert wine from grapes harvested in textbook conditions at -10°C in early January, pressed to yield concentrated nectar, then fermented slowly at cool temperatures for 21 days until perfect balance was achieved, continuing the groundbreaking legacy that began when the estate's 1989 Vidal Icewine won the Grand Prix d'Honneur at Vinexpo France in 1991, forever changing how the world views Canadian wine. Pair this sumptuous icewine with warm apple galette where its rich fruit complements the caramelized pastry, or enjoy it with tangy goat cheese and honeycomb as the wine's zesty acidity cuts through the creamy, earthy flavors beautifully.

Riesling Icewine food pairings: warm apple galette, tangy goat cheese with honeycomb, crème brûlée.
