Frescobaldi's Castello Di Pomino from Pomino, Tuscany is a layered, medium to full-bodied white wine blending Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco with notes of white peach, Meyer lemon peel, chamomile and honeycomb. This dry wine displays focused structure and energetic acidity that will continue to develop over the next four years. Serve it chilled with grilled herbed chicken as the wine's crisp character complements the aromatic seasoning, or pair it with mushroom risotto where the wine's mineral-laced finish enhances the earthy flavors. Winemaker Lamberto Frescobaldi crafts this complex wine with remarkable purity, allowing the orchard fruit to shine through with tangy grapefruit and citrus zest lift alongside a silken yet vibrant texture. The wine's compact backbone and lingering stony finish showcase the quality possible from this historic Tuscan appellation. This unoaked, bone-dry blend represents fantastic value and will drink beautifully through 2030.

Food pairings: grilled herbed chicken, mushroom risotto, barbecued pork chops, seafood.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
