A full-bodied southern Rhone red wine blend with layers of ripe black cherry, dark fruit, wild herbs, mocha, sweet spice and flinty flavours on the palate. Lovely now and for the next three years. Pair with beef and game roasts.

Food pairings: roast beef, veal Porterhouse, roast chicken.

Reviews and Ratings

From the Côtes Du Roussillon, Lesquerde in the Midi, Domaine De Bila-Haut L'esquerda 2017 is produced by the iconic M. Chapoutier. This is an excellent southern-French red blend of 60% Syrah and 40% Grenache. Wine grapes are produced from organic and biodynamically-grown wine grapes and M. Chapoutier's signature. Dry, full-bodied with crushed violets, dark berry, cherry, minty, licorice, wild herb dark chocolate and cedar spice flavours on the palate. Incredibly, consistently good. - Community Wine Reviews
