Natalie's Score: 89/100

A full-bodied wine with aromas of bright red fruit and a mouth-watering juiciness for a wide range of dishes, especially pasta in tomato sauce. This wine was certified organic in 2003. It has some fleshy cherry and smoky notes on the finish. Decant 1 hour. Red fruit, anise and smoke on the nose. Crisp, refreshing finish with a pleasantly bitter bite. Try with rich meat sauces.

Chianti Classico food pairings: pasta with red sauces, beef bourguignon, turkey pot pie, gouda, hearty soups & stews.
