White Wine

Fielding Estate Winery Riesling 2011, V.Q.A., Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, Canada: White peach, light petrol and white floral notes on this very pretty white. Great mouth-watering acidity for seafood and shellfish. Medium-bodied and delightful. Also works as an aperitif. Drink: 2012-2016. 251439 10.50% D 750 mL  $18.95 Score: 89/100. Red Wine

Inniskillin Okanagan Vineyards Montague Single Vineyard Pinot Noir 2011, V.Q.A., Four Mile Creek, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, Canada: Luscious, round dark cherry-berry aromas with mocha from the oak aging. A happy, jubilant wine with a full-body and satin texture. The winemaker uses the punch over technique to circulate the grapes and juice as they're fermenting, which adds richness and body to the wine. So versatile with food. Pair with: veal medallions, avocado and papaya salad, grilled radicchio, basil pesto, frittata. Drink: 2013-2016. 997353 13% XD 750 mL  $26.00 Score: 91/100.
