Le Clos Jordanne Claystone Terrace Pinot Noir 2010 Wine Review
Natalie's Score: 92/100This is my favourite wine from this winery, year after year. Its exuberant energy and power come from a complex weave of nuances: truffles, black cherry, violets, cedar box and dark spices. Brooding and temperamental: love it!
Pinot Noir food pairings: avocado and papaya salad, grilled radicchio, basil pesto, frittata. Splendid Salad Wine

Easy to see why Le Clos Jordanne is a favourite of restaurants and Sommeliers. Consistency and craftsmanship. Medium+ body with lots of dark ripe fruit, cranberry, spice box, cedar, vanilla, and hint of wet cement(?). Grilled meats, game, heavier cheeses.
|Always our most robust and masculine wine. Even though still in barrel, this pinot noir delivers the signature minerality of this particularly clay-rich terroir. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, undated.|
