Kim Crawford Anderson Vineyard Bone Dry Riesling 2004, New Zealand: A mouth-watering (and eye-watering) puckeringly fantastic wine that you better drink with food or I'm not to blame. Stratus Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2005, V.Q.A. Niagara Peninsula, Canada: A blend of the Bordeaux red varietals plus Gamay and Syrah. A stunning red, one of Canada's best. Incredible layers of length. Notes of mocha, coffee, blackberries and smoke. Supple and smooth. Full-bodied. Pair with: tacos, peking duck, black pudding, veal marsala, baked or grilled eggplant.
