Tornatore 2020, Sicily D.O.C., Italy: Tornatore 2020 is a dry, medium-bodied Etna Rosso produced from Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio. Vineyards are located at an altitude of 1,000 metres above sea level on the north side of and active volcano. Fresh, elegant and fragrant with dried rose petals, blue florals, strawberry, cherry, fine herbs and spicy flavours vibrant on the palate, there is lots of food-friendly acidity on this vintage for roasted meats, grilled game sausages and oily fish like smoked sardines. A dry, medium-bodied Côtes De Provence rosé produced from Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah and Mourvèdre wine grapes, it is fresh and fragrant with dried florals, ripe apple, ginger spice and citrusy flavours supple and zesty on the palate. This cru classe rosé is balanced with brilliant food-friendly acidity and finishes long on a mineral note. Very moreish, enjoy it through 2026.
