Quails' Gate Estate Winery Stewart Family Pinot Noir 2020, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia V.Q.A., Canada: Quails' Gate Stewart Family Reserve 2020 Pinot Noir is dry, medium-bodied, fragrant, elegant and generous with dark cherry, savoury herbs, white pepper and baking spices silky-smooth on the palate. Produced from grapes sourced from premium PN blocks in the estate vineyard. Grapes were destemmed to stainless-steel tank and the wine juice was on skins for 18 days during fermentation with daily punch downs. Aged 17 months in French oak barrels. Tannins are fine and firm. If having tonight, decant the wine for an hour and serve it lightly chilled with a roast rack of lamb or roast duck. Pinot Noir food pairings: duck confit, coq au vin, beef bourguignon. White Wine

Cloudsley Twenty Mile Bench Chardonnay 2020, Twenty Mile Bench, Niagara Escarpment, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: Cloudsley Twenty Mile Bench 2020 Chardonnay is produced from premium grapes from Foxcroft, Wingfield and Cuesta Vineyards, and the wine was aged up to 18 months in French oak barrels (28% new). Elegant and poised, the wine is dry, medium-bodied, fragrant and bright with ripe pear, yellow apple, citrus zest, toasty oak spice and butterscotch rich and creamy on the palate with a stony mineral finish. This winery was founded in 2015. Chardonnay food pairings: lobster in butter sauce, grilled fish, chicken.
