Hi Bacchus,

As we move into election mode, I'm reminded of the keen observation from former US President George W. Bush: "Wine is like beer except different."

That nuance has guided my top wine picks to pair with each political party in this Saturday's LCBO Vintages Release:

Robust young reds that need time, but will age well; blue chip Bordeaux from traditional producers (though there's a price to pay) and it turns out that orange is the new black in wine.
