The Magnetic Hill Winery and B&B, located 2 minutes off the Trans Canada overlooking the city of Moncton and the famous Magnetic Hill, Canada’s third most visited natural tourist attraction, offers you more than a bottle of wine.

Your complimentary tasting of award-winning wines, varying from dry to dessert, will leave you knowing exactly what’s in your bottle and how to serve it. With a great selection of estate-grown strawberry, raspberry and local NB blueberry, cranberry and rhubarb vinted right here in the cellar, these anti-oxidant rich wines are sure to offer you something for your unique palate.

Relax on the patio of the charming historic 1867 heritage farm home and enjoy a picnic with your favourite Magnetic Hill wine, crackers and local cheeses. Only here can you experience a panoramic view of Moncton right down to the Chocolate River and the entrance to the Bay of Fundy, the highest tides in the world, as you sip a glass of heritage wine.

The winery’s retail store carries unique wine accessories, pottery, candles, stained glass, jams and vinegars, all designed by local maritime artisans. Complimentary daily tours, romantic picnics, wine & cheese parties, summer festivals, personalized gifts and beautiful weddings - it’s easy to see that Magnetic Hill Winery offers you more than a bottle of wine!

Jeff & Janet have been running the largest berry farm in Moncton for over 20 years, with this year marking the 5th year anniversary since they diversified and started turning their organic fruits into exquisite wines. The Everetts have since received the 2008 Greater Moncton Excellence Award for Top Emerging Business and the 2008 Best of Show Wines at the NB Savour Food & Wine Show. The couple have recently expanded the property to include an on-site vineyard as well as a selection of grape wines, while continuing the tradition of winemaking with different local fruits and flowers, just as their ancestors would have done a century ago.

Besides farming and the winery, the Everetts are continuing the authentic restoration of the 1867 heritage home and rustic Bed and Breakfast that overlooks the Magnetic Hill. Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable: A Tipsy Search

  Best Books of the Year

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
