White Wine

Westcott Vineyards Estate Chardonnay 2022, Niagara Escarpment, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: Westcott Estate 2022 Chardonnay is produced from sustainably grown grapes sourced from the Niagara Escarpment wine region. Dry and medium-bodied, grapes for this Burgundian-style Chardonnay were hand-harvested, whole-bunch pressed and wild-fermented. The wine was barrel-aged for 10 months in French oak barrels (10% new). Fresh and fragrant with golden apple, butterscotch, toasty oak spice and a kiss of vanilla to round out this lovely, elegant and complex Chardonnay, chill and enjoy it through 2029 with pan-fried scallops in beurre noisette or a baguette slathered with rich, creamy brie. Chardonnay food pairings: Asian dishes with black bean, steamed Mahi Mahi, pasta with tomato sauce, pork tenderloin. Drink: 2025 - 2029 424507 12.6% XD 750 mL $31.95 Score: 92/100. March 2025. Top Rated White Wine Full Review Add to Shopping Cart

Red Wine

Malivoire Albert's Honour Old Vines Foch 2021, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: Martin Malivoire’s Albert’s Honour is a tribute to his great-uncle, a hero of World War I. This robust Foch, a hybrid grape, delivers bold purple plum, pepper, clove, and anise flavours, with a distinctive foxy note. The wine is full-bodied, smooth, and well-rounded, making it an enjoyable, structured red with complex earthy, herbal undertones. It has the structure to age through the decade and pairs wonderfully with a hearty roast beef dish. Old Vines Foch food pairings: braised beef, roast beef, hamburgers. Drink: 2025 - 2029 551036 12.5% XD 750 mL $27.95 Score: 88/100. March 2025. Full Review Add to Shopping Cart
