Rocca Delle Macìe Riserva Chianti 2009, Tuscany Docg, Italy: Terrific and juicy with luscious fleshy ripe dark fruit and some mocha. This is a great value for a chianti of this quality. The Grinder Pinotage 2012, W.O., Swartland, South Africa: Loaded with toasty oak, coffee, black pepper, dark spices, mocha and savoury dark fruit aromas. There's a seductive juiciness on the palate with full-bodied weight. Black plum and anise on the smoky finish. Highly recommended. Perfect for hearty meat dishes.
