White Wine

Domaine Chatelain Les Vignes de Saint-Laurent l'Abbaye Pouilly-Fumé 2023, Loire A.C., France: Chatelain’s Saint-Laurent l’Abbaye 2023 Pouilly-Fumé hails from 12th-century limestone slopes once tended by monks, offering a fragrant bouquet of white blossoms, wet stone and crisp apple. On the palate, pear-flesh ripeness mingles with chalky minerality, balanced by vibrant citrus lift. Its taut acidity and stony finish promise vibrant drinking through 2028. Pair it with oyster Rockefeller or lemon-asparagus risotto. Pouilly-Fumé food pairings: chicken and sage skewers, fresh tomato and basil salad, Thai green curry fish, fresh oysters on the half shell with lemon and horseradish.
