Red Wine

Hester Creek Estate Winery Syrah 2022, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, BC V.Q.A., Canada: Hester Creek Estate Winery Syrah 2022, Golden Mile Bench, Okanagan Valley, Canada is a bold, expressive red that opens with aromas of blackberry, blueberry, and ripe plum, layered with cracked black pepper, violet, and a hint of smoked meat. It’s full-bodied, dry, and concentrated on the palate, with firm but polished tannins, bright acidity, and 14.5% alcohol delivering depth and power. Serve it at room temperature to showcase its richness and spice. Fascinating fact: Hester Creek is one of the oldest estate vineyards in the Okanagan, with some original plantings dating back to 1968, and their Syrah consistently reflects the sun-drenched slopes and mineral-rich soils of the Golden Mile Bench. This wine has excellent aging potential—enjoy now or cellar for 7–10 years to develop further complexity. You can order this wine directly from the winery at www.hestercreek.com. Syrah food pairings: charcuterie, roast chicken, lamb chops, beef kebabs. Drink: 2024 - 2028 13.7% D 750 mL $29.99 Score: 94/100. September 2025. Full Review Add to Shopping Cart
