Red Wine

Frescobaldi Calimaia Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2019, Nobile Di Montepulciano, Tuscany D.O.C.G., Italy: Frescobaldi’s Tenuta Calimaia reconnects the family with Montepulciano, drawing Prugnolo Gentile from clay-rich slopes between the Val di Chiana and Val d’Orcia. The 14.5 % red rests two years in large 50 hL casks, then four months in bottle, building depth while staying supple. Black-cherry fruit, herbs, and a trace of cocoa glide across a silky palate backed by fine tannins, drinkable now yet sturdy enough for another 3–5 years. Pair its earthiness with mushroom risotto or grilled game. Food pairings: mushroom risotto, grilled game, grilled steak. Drink: 2025 - 2028 42678 14.6% XD 750 mL $39.95 Score: 92/100. June 2025. Top Rated Red Wine Full Review Add to Shopping Cart

Sparkling Wine

Masi Modello Prosecco Doc Brut, Veneto D.O.C., Italy: Masi Modello Prosecco DOC Brut, Veneto, Italy is a lively, refreshing sparkling wine that bursts with aromas of green apple, white peach, and lemon zest, followed by a playful hint of almond on the finish. It’s dry, light-bodied, and gracefully effervescent with 11% alcohol. Serve it well chilled to let those crisp bubbles sparkle at their brightest. Fascinating fact: Winemaker Raffaele Boscaini—part of the seventh generation of the Masi family—brings the same precision and passion to this Prosecco as he does to their iconic Amarone wines. Notably, Masi was named "Winery of the Year" by Gambero Rosso, one of Italy’s most respected wine guides. Pair it with lightly salted popcorn and a movie night—because elegance and Netflix aren't mutually exclusive. Or serve it with sushi rolls, where its zippy acidity lifts the flavours and its bubbles refresh the palate between bites. Prosecco Doc Brut food pairings: green salads, seafood canapes, smoked fish on baguette. Drink: 2025 - 2027 27001 11% D 750 mL $18.95 Score: 93/100. June 2025. Best Value Sparkling Wine Full Review Add to Shopping Cart
