White Wine

CedarCreek Estate Winery CedarCreek Pinot Gris 2013, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia BC V.Q.A., Canada: A lovely BC white wine made from Pinot Gris grapes. Aromas of white melon, Asian pear, floral fruit and cantalope. Grapes come from the winery's upper CedarCreek Vineyard. They're picked when black bears start making their way through the estate's "bear-proof" fence, as the bears seem to enjoy the same level of sweetness and ripeness that winemaker Darryl Brooker does, though their food pairings differ. About 13% of this wine is barrel fermented. Pair with fresh halibut and light seafood dishes. Pinot Gris food pairings: steamed Salt Spring Island mussels. Drink: 2014 - 2016 561175 13.8% D 750 mL $17.95 Score: 89/100. October 2015. Full Review Add to Shopping Cart
