Other Wines/Drinks

McConnell Estates Winery 5 Year Old Blended Irish Whisky, Ireland: McConnell’s 5 Year Old Blended Irish Whisky is a smooth, approachable blended Irish whiskey with inviting aromas of vanilla, orchard fruit, honey and toasted grain, followed by gentle hints of citrus peel and light spice. The palate is medium-bodied and velvety, showing flavours of caramel, orchard pear, toasted oats and a touch of white pepper, finishing clean with a soft warmth at about 40% alcohol. This whisky is crafted from a blend of malt and grain whiskeys aged at least five years, giving it balance, approachability and subtle complexity. Fascinating fact: McConnell’s is one of Northern Ireland’s historic whiskey brands, and its 5 Year Old blend reflects traditional Irish pot still influence with a smooth, fruit-forward character that makes it ideal for both sipping and cocktails. Serve it neat, or with a splash of water or a large ice cube. Irish Whisky food pairings: cheddar cheese, honey-roasted nuts, apple tart, shortbread cookies. 44406 42% XD 750 mL $54.80 Score: 95/100. February 2026. Full Review Add to Shopping Cart
