Natalie's Score: 90/100

Made from "Vielles Vignes" 80% Tannat and 20% Cabernet Franc grapes from 30 year old vines from Southwest France. Rich, full-bodied, so deep red in the glass it looks black in the glass. Smoky on the nose with ripe red and dark berry fruit with great acidity for food and firm tannins. Decant two hours prior to pouring with a rare roast beef.

Madiran food pairings: roast veal, wild boar tenderloin venison stew.

from Château Peyros 2015 in the Madiran, this a pitch dark-red, full-bodied old vines Tannat (80%) and Cabernet Franc (20%) red wine blend produced by the Famille Lesgourgues. Smoky all over with dark cherry, black fruit, blackberry and firm tannins. Going to be great after 2020 and pair with a Tomahawk steak done rare. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
