Reviews and Ratings

Julia Kelada rated this wine as 96/100 with the following review:

I am NOT a Pinot Noir lover, but at a blind tasting..after I jumped for joy and said..Yummy upon tasting this wine ...I eat my words! Well look, I don't mind being proven wrong! I couldn't believe the deliverance of this wine...yes it is expensive,I bought my bottle and held onto it for two months feerful of drinking so much money, and then one Sunday it was just the right day to say, who needs a special occassion let's just enjoy good wine!
This is a wine that makes a statement, there is nothing wishy washy about it! There are the delicious expected cherries on the nose, but on the palate there is nothing to be expected ...this wine delivers an incredible surprise, cherries, cranberries and then it was almost like I was eating Christmas pudding, cinnamon , nutmeg, plum jam but a pure delight of velvety richness . There is almost a violet mineral note and a deliciously smooth finish. This is a wine worth treating ourself to!
Bottoms up!

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
