Reviews and Ratings

Lesley Quinn - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Green melon and apple scents baked into a cinnamon crust pie. A Chardonnay with a great balance of fruit and spice. It has a bit too much baking spices for the fresh caught lobster I had intended it for but would make a great partner for chicken and hazelnut crepes in a white cheese sauce.
Aromas of apple, peach, cream, buttered toast, vanilla and popcorn give voice to the richness of this gorgeous wine. The palate picks right up on these clues. Creamy-textured with good weight and flavour. One taste of this Casablanca Chardonnay and you’ll be quoting Humphrey Bogart’s famous line: “Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.” Source: Vintages Wine Panel, Sept. 2012
