Alex & Priya rated this wine as 79/100 with the following review:

Priya: Smells lke it could clean my toilet, leave it sparkling and smelling fresh! Tastes that way too. This is what one would call an 'acquired taste', and I'm not sure I want to acquire it. Pine resin is added to this greek wine and although this isn't a top of the line retsina at $8, it still tastes like a mouthful of mould. However, it does clean my sinuses! It's won many prestigious awards so what do I know. Just that I won't be having it a 2nd time! 70 pts

Alex: Wow Priya, sure it's a little different but it isn't that bad! Not at all I'd say, but an intriguing piece to say the least. Yes it smells like a saline and floral version of Pinesol, but there is real elegance and seamless texture to the palate that's growing on me. Whether you like it or not this is a well-made wine in my books, and I'm enjoying it. Just another expertly made example of the incredibly diversity of the worlds greatest libation! 88 pts

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
