Brent Gushowaty rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Eye:
Very pale, cranberry rim.

Nose:
Very floral, berry blossoms

Palate:
Very light in body but medium minus intensity, very persistent flavours, soaring soprano strawberry/raspberry fruit notes with a floral finish of elderberry. A flavour profile similar to some Viogniers (and pinot noirs) i.e. surprising intensity given a relatively light weight/body. Well balanced with a medium long finish.

Other Information:
This wine is from one of the leading wineries on the Western edge of the Sonoma Coast AVA that has come to be called the "true Sonoma Coast". The distinction is made by its winemakers because this area sits right next to the Pacific coast providing a very different terroir to most of the rest of the Sonoma Coast AVA. The overall Sonoma Coast AVA includes more than half a million acres and many of the vineyards in it are dozens of miles from the actual coast. Being on the Pacific, the true Sonoma Coast vineyards are often at much higher elevations than inland wineries and are subject to fog and strong prevailing winds. Consequently the style is much more cool climate, with lower alcohol, lighter fruit and often with the refinement and balance in structure that comes with higher levels of acidity.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
