Wineboy rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This wine delivers exactly what many people would expect - lots of ripe, ripe apple and overripe pears along with some obvious creaminess and considerable oak. Almost a prototype of what California Chardonnay was before the "anti-oak" trend began a few years ago. This style is increasingly harder to find these days. Hedonists - Enjoy!
Heather Wall rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Clear pale lemon showing slight oxidation. Dry and medium bodied. Citrus, yellow apple, apricot, honeysuckle, fennel, vanilla, smoke, sweet spices.
Palate brings mkuth watering acidity with anise, pineapple, white pepper, coconut, herbal notes.
Medium length on a smooth warming finish.
Good typical California Chardonnay.
Drink now, not suitable for further ageing.
Pair with planked cedar salmon, garlic butter mussels, pasta in cream sauce, soft cheeses.
Tasted April 2014
Martha Kelly AIWS rated this wine as 83/100 with the following review:

Pale lemon in colour, with flavours of pineapple, apple, coconut, smoke, white pepper, and fennel, this wine has mouth-watering acidity balancing the medium plus body, with a warming finish of medium length.
Enjoy today with creamy cheeses and cream pasta dishes.
Date tasted: April 2014.
