Nicely done, refined, elegant and characteristic - to boot this is a lovely vintage, the first DOCG vintage and one that proved nicely balanced. Full bodied but not massive with impressive restraint and undeniable depth. Focused with nicely balanced acids and judicious use of oak. Linear and refined. Very good length. Tasted March 2014.
Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

After Amarone is finished fermenting, the pomace of the dried grapes used to produce it is joined with the Valpolicella . Second fermentation raises the alcohol and gives the wine deeper colour, richer body and aromas. Deep ruby red, it offers rich, elegant, lingering scents; it is crisp and dry in the mouth, well structured, with a lovely, velvety texture. Can be cellared several years. Serving Suggestions Ideal with all game, roasts, and grilled/barbecued dishes

Lorsque la fermentation de l’Amarone est terminée, le marc et les raisins séchés utilisés dans sa production sont joints au Valpolicella . La deuxicme fermentation augmente le taux d’alcool et donne une couleur plus foncée, un corps et des arôm

Louise Wilson rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Rich black cherry and red licorice notes with a slight herbal lift. The generous depth of flavour is due to the ripasso method, while the tannins remain light and easy drinking due to the grape varieties. A delightful combination; perfectly supported by light oak and refreshing acidity. An excellent accompaniment to beef carpaccio. Drink now through 2017.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
