Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

I loved this Gewurz. It's 7 years old and holding up beautifully. It is dynamic, featuring lots of ripe stonefruit, flowers, citrus and a hit of lychee. A great summer sipper. 91 Points.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A pretty golden colour with fragrant aromas of canned peaches, fruit salad, white flowers, lychee and lemon curd. Flavours show ample apricot, dried apples and a delicate note of cinnamon spices. Fruity and medium bodied with gentle acidity. This is begging to pair with Hawaiian pizza, mild green curry and pad Thai with a touch of heat. Bright and flavourful. - tasted July 2018
Dawn Montgomery reviewed this wine as follows:

My main joy as a wine educator is seeing the surprise and delight when someone really ‘gets’ what wine is about.

Thanks to Gray Monk Estate Wineries and their 2011 Gewürztraminer, that’s what happened sitting round my dining room table yesterday evening for the #ONTastesBC Tweet-up. One member of my tasting team had previously stated her dislike of Gewurztraminer so trepidation was in the air when the bottle was opened and the wine poured. For me it was actually exciting because I knew something about the wine that my friend didn’t, namely that this was an off-dry Gewürz, not the sweet Gewürz of her memory. One hesitant sip and she was hooked, an interesting lesson on how the winemakers can so influence the style of wine.

The fruit was harvested from vineyards in both Kelowna and and the juice was left in contact with the skins for an extended period of time before cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The colour is a clear yellow green, with those wonderful distinctive Gewürz aromas of herbal spice, fresh melon and ripe peaches whilst the flavours have lichee, melon and tropical fruits notes. It has a crisp, fresh, rich finish and served chilled, is good on it’s own, with salads or Asian cuisines.

Lori Kilmartin WSET3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A very aromatic Gewurztraminer with lemon, pear, grapefruit and lychee on both the nose and palate. It had a medium - long finish with some flintiness. A fabulous match with proscuitto wrapped blue cheese and pear! Be sure and chill before serving.
Beverly Crandon rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

On colour, Gray Monk Gewürztraminer 2011 is holds a light yellowish, green hue. On the nose, scents of pear, melon, strawberry, and some spice are present. On the palate, a fantastic blend of tempered acidity, lichee and citrus make this a great drinking Gewürztraminer.
Jason Solanki rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Quite aromatic with lemon, mineral and herbal spice aromas. Light-bodied with crisp, tart lemon, citrus, orange rind and some lychee on the palate. Has very bright acidity. Finish is medium-length and spicy. Tasted Jan/2013.
Nina rated this wine as 75/100 with the following review:

Light straw color in the glass.
On the nose honey, floral, perfume, rose pellets.
On the palate dry, more acidity than I would expect. After a while opens up with ripe peach flavor, floral notes. Hot with alcohol. Palate doesn't follow nose aromas. Little disappointed.
Light finish with bitter aftertaste.
Corinna Horton rated this wine as 83/100 with the following review:

A light, sweet aroma tainted with rose, with a full, ripe pear taste and hints of almond. This was a wine that was too young for me, with an unwelcome effervescence. Wait and drink it in two years, then I believe you will see it bursting with taste, instead of bubbles.
Nita Boushey rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Aromas of orange zest mix delicately with floral and petrol notes. This is a nice crisp wine with a little oil on palate giving it just a bit of body.
Joe Hache Prince Edward Count rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is a classic gewurz. It is pale with peach and tropical fruit on the nose with a nice peach/mango/lychee on the palate. Very nicely balanced between the fruit and acid. Would pair awesome with the spicy Thai dish we all love!
Holly Bruns rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

There's something delicate and restrained about this wine. The roses, orange peel, and hint of spice lay atop something slightly akin to petrol; a citrus back note livens things up. The lime, pithy, tart finish refreshes the palate.
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Medium-full bodied gewurztraminer that is spicy, sweet, tart, and floral. The aromas are rosewater, sweet apple, mango, lychee, and beeswax. the first mouthful is sweet and fruity but finishes with a bit more acidity than expected. This wine has a lingering richness. Beautiful for a coconut curry.
Kristin Perrin rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

What a REFRESHING GEW! Its' Lovely Lychee, Orange Blossom and Rose Petal Bouquet continues to rejuvenate your palate with its' White Grapefruit/Orange Blossom, Lychee and ever-so-delicate Cinnamon finish. "One that I could drink the whole bottle of...it's only 12.6%ABV" -An Anonymous Friend :)
Jane Staples rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Ever wondered what rose petals taste like? Here's your answer in this delicate Gewurtztraminer with floral, lychee and tropical fruit aromas, echoed on the palate with a hint of sweet spice. Try it with Vietnamese cuisine or lightly spiced food.
Travis Oke rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

I have 2 favorite things about Gewürztraminer - the ümlaut (little dotty thing on the u) and the spiciness of Gewürz. The Gray Monk is dry but bordering on off-dry and almost clear in colour. Paired it with homemade Gravlax which brought out the pear notes nicely.
Mark Britton rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Pale lemon and a bit watery in appearance with intense floral aromas that jump out of the glass alongside honeydew, stone and some tropical fruits. On the palate it’s a bit more mellow than I would have expected. Extremely easy drinking with fruit so rich it almost comes off with a bit of sweetness. Pair with Asian or Indian food.
Gabriel Israel rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

On the nose: sweet fruits, flowers. On the palate: mid palate focused. A dry Gewurtz. a bit fizzy, alomst like a light prosecco, sweet finish. will go nicely with pâté or scallops.
Dan Trcka Wine Blogger rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

The 2011 Gray Monk Gewürztraminer is a light to medium bodied, fruity wine, with intense aromas of green apple, washed stones and subdued leechie. It is off dry, has good acidity and a medium finish. It is an easy, food friendly drinker for an early afternoon refresher. My impression: NICE, 88 pts. Tasted Jan/13.
