Big but well structured cab sauv with lots of sharp tannins that don't soften much with decanting. Good character and complexity, and a nice wine. Could use some cellaring based on the tannins.

I was told by my locat LCBO guy "P" that the Chilean Cab Sauv has a pronounced bell pepper to it. That's what hits you upfront on this, but in a nice way that reminded me of a Cab Franc. Nice rounded fruits underneath.

Tabali Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2010, Maipo Valley, Limari Valley, Chile: A joyously rich and full-bodied red that bursts with mouth-watering aromas and flavours of blackberry and black cherry.
