Reviews and Ratings

A steely Chardonnay with green apple and lime vibrancy. Bracing acidity. Crisp and clean. Pair with pan-seared scallops. MINE: From les vignerons de Buxy Buissonnier Montagny (2014) is a steely Burgundian white wine with crisp green apple, citrus, bracing acidity and steely minerality on the palate. Very lean and mean. Pair with pan-seared buttery scallops. OTHER: Montagny is situated at the southern end of Burgundy's Chalonnaise region. The vines are grown in chalky clay, and the wines produced are great values. This one is raised entirely in stainless steel to preserve even the most delicate floral and fruit characteristics. Expect a fresh, balanced wine crafted in a fruity but elegant style that has broad appeal, with tones of apple and lemon citrus, a touch of mineral and a sleek texture. Great for seafood or chicken (Vintages Panel, updated). - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
