Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Well priced blend from southwest of France. Blended from Cabernet Sauvignon (40%), Cabernet Franc (40%), and Merlot (20%), aromas include blackberry, currant, oak, and smoke. Medium plus body and medium acidity, fruit is smoky and slightly spicy on the palate. Enjoy with slow roasted meats.
Neil Phillips rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

A well-made wine from a region you don't find in Ontario frequently. Often considered a more "rustic Bordeaux", only in that similar red blends predominate - as is the case with this example.

Good value, if not overly complex. Perfect for patio sipping or the barbie.

Tasted August 2020.
Produced by Les Vignerons de Buzet. V3 Sans Sulfites Ajoutés 2018 is a vegan-friendly, medium-plus-bodied red blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Cabernet Franc and 20% Merlot from old vines, wine grapes sourced from the south of France. Really great value under $15. Fresh with black-currant, raspberry, red plum flavours and soft tannins. Enjoy it while it is young and fresh. - Community Wine Reviews
