Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This is mouthwatering and pure gold. Green apples, brioche, unripe apricot, lemon. This is steely and a bit brutish but again in a good way. You want to drink bottles of it with cold seafood. 91 Points.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Fresh and fruity, this sparkling offers lively medium bubbles with baked bread, cut pear skins, breadsticks, soft cheese skins and yeasty goodness. Flavours reveal much of the same with chewy soft flinty notes and a splash of citrus. Pair with oysters or fresh herb grilled fish. 90 points - tasted September 16, 2018
Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas of green apple with hints of lime and soft cheese rind, continue through to a zesty lime finish, with delicate fizz.
Lovely with grilled octopus.
Tasted Sept 2018.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

An interesting blend from vinifera and hybrid grapes, done in Charmat method. Aromas of bread, rind of brie and some golden apple. Medium bubble, with a lot more apple and fruit on the palate. Enjoy with appetizers.
Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Beautiful bottle! Aromas of buttery brioche and honey with hints of peach. This bubbly is enjoyable on the palette with flavours of apple, pear and lime.

Enjoy with lobster or buttery waffles at your next brunch

Greg Hughes rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Charmat method wine from Unsworth. They are located on Cowichan Island (Cowichan in First Nation Salish for "warm land"). They have a nice micro climate for cool climate varietals, so this is a smart wine for them.
This wine is Split Pinot Noir and Gris, woth a dash of Sauvinette (a hybrid sometime also called Epicure).
It's an extremely pale whote, woth a touch of green hues.
The aromas are somewhat reduced at first, but it soon comes out with sweet pea, white peach, and citrus.
The flavours are pleasant. Juicy citrus and stone fruit.
A great summer wine to have on the patio. Pair this with marinated salmon or trout.
