Reviews and Ratings

Mascota Vineyards / GRAN VINO TINTO / Unánime Gran Vino Tinto is a robust 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Malbec and 15% Cabernet Franc red wine blend with wine grapes sourced from the producer's Mascota Vineyards in the Uco Valley. Perfumed with ripe dark berries, small black fruits, dark chocolate and savoury herbs. Pair with slow-roast beef ribs. MINE: Unánime Gran Vino Tinto is a robust and juicy red wine blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Malbec and 15% Cabernet Franc from the producer's Mascota Vineyards in the Uco Valley. Perfumed with ripe black and blueberry fruits, it is savoury, with mocha and smoky flavours on the palate. OTHER: I love the big nose of blueberries, licorice and violets, which draws you into this expansive, powerful red with plush tannins. A long, dry, spicy finish. Great value for money. A blend of 60% cabernet sauvignon, 25% Malbec and 15% cabernet franc. Drink or hold. Score - 94 (James Suckling, jamessuckling.com, Jan. 22, 2019). - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
