Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This 80% Cinsault/ 20% Syrah has flinty notes on the nose and palate. Some subtle rhubarb in play on the palate. Smooth and easy to sip on its own or with light pasta or chicken salad. Tasted June 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Great value rose with plenty of watermelon, cherry, and strawberry aromas. Fresh with floral and spice suggestions. Extra dry with crisp acidity and a mild bitterness on the finish. Enjoy al fresco with cheese and crackers, or grill up some chicken for a summer dinner.
Trent Mayers rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This wine comes from the vast wine district that stretches across the South of France, the Languedoc-Roussillon, known by its official regional wine designation as the Pays D'Oc. The name of the wine is cute play on words: the French word "typique", which means typical and this Rosé is very much typical of the Rosés of the South of France. It is quite pale and it's mostly Cinsault, a common grape for Rosé in Provence (with a bit of Syrah added for structure). This is a delightful lightish bodied, dry sipper with suggestions of strawberry, sweet cherry and lemon, intermingled with herbaceous watermelon rind. It would be an excellent complement to Margherita pizza or gazpacho drizzled with extra virgin olive oil. Drink now to 2022 to enjoy the fruit.
From the Languedoc wine region, Typic 2018 is fantastic value under $14. This rosé is a blend of equal amounts of Cinsault and Syrah wine grapes, floral and fresh red berry fruit with dried savoury herb aromas on the nose. Great acidity for food with ripe red berry, savoury spice and dried herb flavours on the palate. Excellent for the price. Pair with grilled pork ribs and BBQ chicken. - Community Wine Reviews
