Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

The classy Trius Red 2010, from Niagara on the Lake, made from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, shows a lovely mature brick color that can be expected from this vintage. The bouquet shows elegant tertiary notes of fig, dried dark plum, black pepper, charcoal, caramel and oak. On the palate, this medium-bodied wine will expose its remarkable structure and balance, combined with a long dark fruit finish that will make you salivate for the next sip. Flavors of fig, plum, truffle, pepper, dark chocolate and oak mix agreeably, showing Trius’ great winemaking experience. Enjoy!

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
