A robust, concentrated Argentine red wine made from the Malbec grape. Aromas of fleshy ripe black plums, dark berries and spice. Terrific, balancing acidity for tangy meat sauces.

Malbec food pairings: grilled flank steak, pork roast, grilled root vegetables.

Reviews and Ratings

Trapiche's Medalla 2014 is produced from 100% Malbec from the Uco Valley, Mendoza. This is a juicy and savoury Malbec, youthful with earthy florals and fresh dark fruit flavours on the palate. Easy to enjoy this full-bodied red on its own, but has a refreshing acidity for food. Pair with grilled fare. - Community Wine Reviews
