This is a rich and vibrant, full-bodied rosé made in the appassimento style. Amarose is a lush Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Gamay blend with dried skins and lees contact of appassimento wines. Fragrant with pink florals, ripe red cherry, red berry jam and softly spiced on the palate.

Amarosé food pairings: sushi, white turkey meat, fish tacos, salads.

Reviews and Ratings

The Foreign Affair 2019 Amarose is a great value rosé from the Niagara Peninsula wine region. A blend of Pinot Noir, Gamay and Chardonnay wine grapes, dry, medium-bodied, concentrated and rich on the nose and palate with red cherry, strawberry jam and soft spicy flavours. Great balance on this food-friendly, tasty rosé. Pair with a grilled pork tenderloin. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
